As summer unfolds, Inver Grove Heights offers a variety of events for residents and visitors alike. Here are some upcoming activities to mark on your calendar:
Music in the Park Series
Starting June 23, the ‘Inver Groove: Music in the Park’ series brings family-friendly entertainment to South Valley Park every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Performances include:
- June 23: Will Hale and the Tadpole Parade
- June 30: Tricia & The Toonies
- July 7: Todd’n’Tina
- July 14: Kidpower Music and Animal Show
- July 21: Will Hale and the Tadpole Parade
- July 28: Riffin’ Griffin
Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the performances. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held at the Veterans Memorial Community Center.
Author Meet & Greet and Book Signing
On June 30, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Cuppa More Pages will host local elementary teachers Mrs. Polland and Mrs. Lawless for a meet and greet and book signing event. They will be signing their books, ‘Strawberry’s Kindness’ and ‘The Wild Blueberry.’ Enjoy a cup of coffee while the kids participate in free activities.
City Meetings
Stay informed about local governance by attending upcoming city meetings:
- June 22, 6:00 p.m.: City Council Regular Meeting
- June 25, 7:00 p.m.: Environmental Advisory Commission Meeting
