Fishing Derby
On Saturday, June 6, the city will host its annual Fishing Derby. This family-friendly event invites anglers of all ages to enjoy a day of fishing and friendly competition. Prizes will be awarded in various categories. Be sure to bring your fishing gear and enthusiasm!
Labyrinth Walk & Grief Writing
For those seeking a reflective experience, MEND: A Grief Sanctuary is offering a Labyrinth Walk & Grief Writing session on Friday, June 5, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Participants will engage in an outdoor labyrinth walk followed by a guided writing session to process grief and promote healing. Registration is required, and the fee is $75.
Stillwater River Cruise
Join the Inver Grove Heights Parks and Recreation department for a delightful Stillwater River Cruise on Tuesday, June 9. Departing at 9:30 AM from the Veterans Memorial Community Center, this excursion includes a mid-day cruise along the St. Croix River with a buffet-style deli luncheon. After the cruise, explore downtown Stillwater’s Pedestrian Plaza. The fee is $97, and registration is required by Friday, May 8.
Inver Groove: Music in the Park
Starting Tuesday, June 23, and running through July 28, the city presents “Inver Groove: Music in the Park.” Every Tuesday morning at 10:30 AM, South Valley Park will feature family-friendly musical performances. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the tunes. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved to the Veterans Memorial Community Center.
