As we move into July, Inver Grove Heights offers a variety of events for residents and visitors alike. Here’s a look at some upcoming activities you won’t want to miss.
Inver Groove: Music in the Park
Join us for free family-friendly concerts at South Valley Park, 2810 70th St. E., on select Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy 45-minute musical and educational performances. The lineup includes:
- July 7: Todd’n’Tina
- July 14: Kidpower Music and Animal Show
- July 21: Will Hale and the Tadpole Parade
- July 28: Riffin’ Griffin
In case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved to the Veterans Memorial Community Center (VMCC) at 8055 Barbara Ave.
2026 Summer Food Truck Festival
Mark your calendars for the Summer Food Truck Festival on Wednesday, July 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Rich Valley Athletic Complex, 1841 105th Street E. Enjoy a variety of food options, musical entertainment, community organizations, yard games, and fun giveaways from the Parks & Recreation Department.
Nature Immersion for Healing
On Friday, July 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., MEND: A Grief Sanctuary at 6515 Babcock Trail will host a nature immersion experience designed to help ease the pain of grief and loss. Led by certified yoga instructor Dallas Rising, this session includes guided and silent portions to help you connect with nature as part of your healing journey. The cost is $60, and registration is required.
Regular Bingo and Games
For those who enjoy games, several venues offer regular events:
- The Moose Lodge 1088: Bingo on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Drkula’s 32 Bowl: Wednesday Bingo at 6:30 p.m., VINGO on Fridays at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday Bingo at noon.
- Celts Pub: Mega Meat Raffle & Races on Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
