As summer unfolds, Inver Grove Heights offers a variety of events to engage residents and visitors alike. Here’s a look at some upcoming activities in our community.
Inver Groove: Music in the Park
Join us for free, family-friendly concerts at South Valley Park, 2810 70th St. E. Performances are scheduled on select Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the music.

After the concerts, feel free to explore the playground, walk the trails, or have a picnic lunch. Free parking is available at South Valley Park, with overflow parking at North Valley Park.
2026 Summer Food Truck Festival
Mark your calendars for the Summer Food Truck Festival at Rich Valley Athletic Complex, 1841 105th St. E. Enjoy a variety of local food vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities. The event is free to attend; food and beverages are available for purchase.
- Wednesday, July 15: 5-8 p.m.
- Friday, August 14: 5-8 p.m.
Most vendors accept cards, but bringing cash is recommended. Leashed dogs are welcome, and seating is limited, so consider bringing a blanket or chair.
Grocery Giveaway
Connection Church, in partnership with Grace Church, is hosting a monthly Grocery Giveaway to support those in need. The event is free and open to all.
- Saturday, July 4: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Saturday, August 1: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Location: Grace Church of the Nazarene, 7950 Blaine Ave E. Pre-registration is encouraged to help organizers prepare.
