Fishing Derby
On Saturday, June 6, the city will host its annual Fishing Derby. This family-friendly event invites anglers of all ages to enjoy a day of fishing and friendly competition. Details on location and registration can be found on the city’s official website.
Sport Movement Skill Conference 2026
Scheduled for Friday, June 5, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the Sport Movement Skill Conference will take place at the Veterans Memorial Community Center, located at 8055 Barbara Avenue. Labyrinth Walk & Grief Writing Session
Also on June 5, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, MEND: A Grief Sanctuary at 6515 Babcock Trail will offer a Labyrinth Walk & Grief Writing session. This event combines an outdoor labyrinth walk with a grief writing session to facilitate healing. Tickets are priced at $75.00 and can be purchased online.
Stillwater River Cruise
On Tuesday, June 9, from 9:30 AM to 4:15 PM, the Parks and Recreation department is organizing a Stillwater River Cruise. Participants will enjoy a mid-day cruise along the St. Croix River, complete with a buffet-style deli luncheon. The day also includes time to explore downtown Stillwater’s Pedestrian Plaza. The fee for this event is $97, with registration required by Friday, May 8.
Inver Groove: Music in the Park
Starting Tuesday, June 23, and running through July 28, the city presents the ‘Inver Groove: Music in the Park’ series. Every Tuesday morning at 10:30 AM, South Valley Park at 2810 70th Street East will host family-friendly musical performances. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the concerts, which last approximately 45 minutes. In case of inclement weather, the backup location is the Veterans Memorial Community Center.
