Spaces & Resources for Local Events
The Veterans Memorial Community Center (VMCC) continues to be a central hub for markets, classes, and gatherings. Meeting rooms, gym space, and community rooms are available for reservation.
Another space: Shamrock Hall at the Church of St. Patrick—ideal if you’re organizing a banquet, reception, or larger meeting.
Planning Ahead: Tips
Check the weather—some events (especially outdoor ones like the market or music on the patio) may be affected by rain or wind.
Reserve early for events that offer limited space or require tickets—Oktoberfest at Gertens is popular, for example.
Stay plugged in—the City of Inver Grove Heights’ Community Events calendar, plus VisitIGH.com, are great for updated listings if something changes or pops up last-minute.
Looking forward to seeing you out there—there’s always something happening, whether you’re in the mood for live music, handmade goods, or simply connecting with neighbors. — Noah Olson
