As we move through July, Inver Grove Heights offers a variety of events for residents and visitors alike. Here’s a look at some upcoming activities in our community.
Music in the Park
Join us for free, family-friendly concerts at South Valley Park, located at 2810 70th St. E. The next performance features Will Hale and the Tadpole Parade on Tuesday, July 21, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the music on the grassy hillside. Restrooms and changing tables are available on-site. After the concert, consider exploring the playground, walking trails, or having a picnic lunch. Free parking is available at South Valley Park, with overflow parking at North Valley Park across the street.
City Council Meetings
Stay informed about local governance by attending upcoming city council meetings. The City Council Budget Workshop is scheduled for Monday, July 20, and the City Council Regular Meeting will take place on Monday, July 27. Both meetings are held at City Hall, 8150 Barbara Avenue. Attending these meetings is a great way to stay engaged with city developments and voice your opinions.
