In a recent decision, the Inver Grove Heights City Council voted 3-2 to enact a one-year moratorium on new data center developments. This pause aims to allow city officials to thoroughly study the potential long-term effects of such facilities on the community’s infrastructure and environment.
The moratorium was prompted by a proposal from QLevr LLC to construct a 54,000-square-foot data center at the former Travel Tags site on Carmen Avenue East.
