As we look ahead, Inver Grove Heights offers a variety of events for residents and visitors to enjoy. Here are some upcoming activities to mark on your calendar:
Music in the Park Series
Starting June 23, the ‘Inver Groove: Music in the Park’ series will take place every Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at South Valley Park. Enjoy family-friendly entertainment with a variety of musical and educational performances. Bring a blanket or chair and stay after to play at the park, walk the trails, or have lunch. Concerts are 45 minutes long. In case of inclement weather, call the Parks and Rec Weather Hotline at 651-450-2595. The backup location is the Veterans Memorial Community Center (VMCC) at 8055 Barbara Avenue.
Author Meet & Greet and Book Signing
On June 30, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Cuppa More Pages will host a meet and greet with local authors Mrs. Polland and Mrs. Lawless, both elementary teachers in Inver Grove Heights. They will be available to discuss their books, ‘Strawberry’s Kindness’ and ‘The Wild Blueberry.’ Copies will be available for purchase, or you can bring your own for signing. Enjoy a cup of coffee while the kids participate in free activities.
