Today, June 6, the annual Fishing Derby invites anglers of all ages to test their skills. This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and engage in some friendly competition.
Inver Groove: Music in the Park
Starting June 23, the ‘Inver Groove: Music in the Park’ series brings free, family-friendly concerts to South Valley Park every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The lineup includes:
- June 23: Will Sings Songs
- June 30: Tricia & The Toonies
- July 7: Todd’n’Tina
- July 14: Kidpower Music and Animal Show
- July 21: Will Hale and the Tadpole Parade
- July 28: Riffin’Griffin
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy performances tailored for children and families. Leashed dogs are welcome, and the park offers amenities like a playground and walking trails.
Stillwater River Cruise
On June 9, embark on a delightful river cruise in Stillwater. The day includes a mid-day cruise along the St. Croix River with a buffet-style deli luncheon, followed by an afternoon exploring downtown Stillwater’s Pedestrian Plaza, known for its unique boutiques and art galleries. The trip departs from the Veterans Memorial Community Center at 9:30 a.m. and returns at 4:15 p.m. Registration is required.
